Wild Flowers Original Oil Painting
Part of the 30 days of Still Life challenge.
I wanted to do a painting with an analogous colour scheme. An analogous colour scheme uses the colours that lie directly next to each other on the colour wheel. For example yellow, orange, red, red-violet. Like in this painting. I found these wild flowers across the street and this vase lying around just asking to be painted and I thought, “Perfect. It’s meant to be”.
10 × 12 inch Oil on canvas.
Made with artist grade Winsor and Newton Oil Paints.
