Dried Hydrangeas Original Oil Painting
I had a bit of a break for the holiday period before painting this one and it was good to be back. I’m very much inspired by Henri Fantin-Latour’s work at the moment. I love the quiet compositions and the arrangements of the bouquets. There is something peaceful about a simple bouquet sitting on a table and when you put into paint it feels so nice.
I’m not trying to paint a fantin-latour because that would be impossible but i’ve taken what i enjoy about his work. I really like this one.
